TIMOTHY EERIE (ATX) & KILLER WHALE (SF)

Sunday March 17th 2019

the Milk Bar presents

TIMOTHY EERIE (ATX)

Timothy Eerie is an Orlando-grown, Austin-based psychedelic pop group. These day-glo lads have been kicking around the underground scene since 2015. From their roots as a bedroom recording project Timothy Eerie has blossomed beyond the bedroom, developing an eclectic sound and a starry-eyed following. Where the ethereal meets the visceral is where you will find Timothy Eerie, with dreamy, hazy melodies accompanied by thick tones and rock’n’roll noise this band is the epitome of multi-faceted sound. Like many of the bands stemming from the psychedelic genre, there has been a revolving door of players and artists contributing to the project which only lends to their mystique.

KILLER WHALE

Baton Rouge's Thomas Johnson moved to San Francisco and brought a bountiful sense of creativity with him. Recording as Killer Whale, Johnson crafts psychedelic rock-pop from a mixture of acoustic instruments, electronics, and layered vocals. Johnson already released a new EP, Pink Pacific, earlier this month. One hopes that we'll be hearing more new music from this inventive singer-songwriter before the year is through.
